Pago de Larrainzar is more than a wine. It is the soul of our family and a tribute to the beautiful land that has belonged to our
family for the last 150 years. Only a rigorous selection of our best grapes makes up this wine, which is full of elegance, character and complexity. After being harvested by hand, the different varieties are fermented and aged separately, using the best French oak barrels. Only then we create the final blend, to achieve a perfect balance, where the fruit always plays the leading role.

Tasting Notes

It has a nice red cherry color with purple hues that reveal amazing preservation and long life. The nose shows a feature of Larrainzar wines, the character and personality of their wines. Great complexity and nuance, with a whole range of forest fruits, pastries and cocoa notes, fine clean woods and scrubland on moist soil. The palate is alive, tasty, with that great balance of fruit and mineral notes that appears in the nose. The wine is soft , elegant, but it has a long and pleasant finish, perfectly polished. A great vintage with a long life ahead.
