Wine Description

Otazu Rosé Tempranillo 2021 (D.O. Navarra) is a 100% Tempranillo rosé wine. The grapes were harvested in the Tempranillo vineyards of our single-este vineyard in September 2021.

After a cold maceration for one hour, when this rosé obtains its typical pale pink color, we proceed to the traditional saignée method in order to respect the quality of the fruit and maintain the personality and particularity of the grape variety.

After the clarification, the wine ferments at a controlled temperature in stainless steel tanks.

Finally, it is aged for one month and a half on its lees in order to gain volume, unctuosity, and aunique varietal character.

Otazu Rosé Tempranillo 2021 shows a bright pink pale color with soft salmon nuances. This is a delicate and fresh wine on the nose, with red fruit aromas. Subtle and light on the palate, with a pleasant freshness and some citrus notes in the finish.

This rosé wine can be served at a temperature of 8ºC-10ºC and is a good match with cold and warm salads, rice meals, pasta, vegetables, cold meat and soft cheeses.
